How matches are picked
Cars over your budget, with no published price, with too few seats (where seats are published), or that don't fit your fuel choice are left out. If you can't charge at home, electric cars are left out. The rest get points, and we show the top car per model:
- Price: up to 20 points, more the further under your budget.
- Running cost at your km: up to 30 points, cheapest gets the most (no claimed fuel use = 0).
- Body type you chose: 25 points.
- Towing or bakkie need: 25 points for a bakkie, plus 15 for 400 Nm or more.
- Plug-in hybrid or electric when you can charge at home and are open to it: 15 points.
- Published seats meeting your need: 10. Global NCAP Africa stars: 3 each. Published warranty and service plan: 5. Top 10 seller in the latest NAAMSA month: 5.
